REMIX COMIX: COMICS AND COMMUNITY (2nd day)

The second day of the international conference will focus on the power of comics in creating (artistic) communities and how can comics contribute to the improvement of social and cultural recognition or social inclusion of various marginalized social groups.  There will be contributions and conversations with various important actors of the (independent) European comics scene, such as the renowned Belgian comics researcher Erwin Dejasse, the Lebanese artist Mazen Kerbaj, representatives of the Finnish association Kutikuti, the French graphic publisher Le Dernier Cri, the local Stripburger and the Czech festival LUSTR.
