INVISIBLE LIVES

comic book talk

The comic book Invisible Lives (Nevidna življenja) sheds light on the stories of workers who turn to the counsellors of the Counselling Office for Workers for help due to labour rights violations, discrimination, injuries and numerous other problems and obstacles they encounter in the workplace. Janez Grm will talk with the author of the comic book, Ivan Mitrevski, and the head of the Counselling Office for Workers, Goran Lukić, about how the comic came to be, its repercussions, and also about the social power of comics telling the stories of invisible (and silent) individuals and groups.

The presentation will be held in Slovene and is part of the international conference Remix Comix: Comics and Community.

Organisation: Kino Šiška and Remix Comix.
Free admission.
